Reception Facilities Available at the Inn

  • The Janssen Room seats 125 and has an open beamed ceiling, hardwood floors & stage.
  • patio_tent.jpgThe Garden Canopy seats 150. Giant ferns compliment the green and white top and the courtyard is a beautiful flagstone. Twinkling Italian lights surround the tent and nearby trees, creating an enchanting impression as darkness falls. A heater and sides are available for inclement weather.
  • May through October couples can take advantage of an indoor-outdoor event using the Janssen Room & the adjoining Garden Canopy for a maximum guest count of 275.

  • The quaint Fireside Room seats a maximum of 45 and is ideal for small intimate receptions.

 

  • There is a 100 person minimum for Saturday afternoon or evening receptions scheduled May through October.
  • There is a 60 person minimum for Friday receptions.
  • There is a 75 person minimum for Sunday receptions.
  • There may be minimums on some buffets or hors d’oeuvres if planning a small reception.
  • There is a 5% discount offered for any reception held mid-week, Monday through Friday. This discount is not applicable on the Hors D'oeuvres Buffet since it is tailored for Monday through Friday.
  • If the guest count is less than 125 and couples wish to rent the Garden Canopy the fee is $200. If the guest count is more than 125 there is no fee & the canopy is automatically used for the reception.
  • If weather permits & couples desire to have all the food service outdoors, there is an additional fee of $1.50 per person.
  • It is recommended to have an extra speaker set up under the Garden Canopy when a reception is more than 125 guests. Musicians or DJ’s will generally provide the service if asked in advance.
  • Children ages 4-12 are half price.
  • A host and or hostess is recommended. Their duties are generally for greeting and directions.
  • A tentative wedding date maybe be put on hold for 2 weeks with no obligation, in order to give couples time to make a decision.
  • A non-refundable $100 deposit is required to guaranty a reception at the Inn.
  • A non-refundable $100 deposit is required to guaranty a ceremony at the Canyon.
  • A second deposit of 20% is required with the signing of the contract and is non-refundable less than 120 days prior to reception.
  • The balance of payment is due at the close of the reception.
  • Deposits may be made with all major credit cards, (except American Express), cash or in-state checks.
  • Final payment at the close of the reception must be credit card or cash.
  • All receptions must end by midnight
  • A guaranteed guest count is required 7 days prior to reception. The count must be broken down between adults, children (4-12) and babies (3+ under). Estimated count is due 30 days in advance. White Pines Inn is always prepared to serve at least 5% above given count
