White Pines Lodge - early 1940's
White Pines Inn is home to one of northern Illinois' landmark restaurants. The homestyle cuisine blends perfectly with the log cabin decor. Generous portions of mostly homemade dishes fill the menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner, six days a week. Each Sunday the fabulous Cornhusker's Buffet, with its spread of hearty homecooking and mouth watering desserts, is served from 8am – 2pm.

diningtable.jpg Enjoy White Pines' famous Paul Bunyan Breakfast served family style: large platters filled with eggs, buttermilk or blueberry pancakes, American fries, toast, sausage, and bacon. Still hungry? Just ask for more and we'll keep it coming!

Lunches range from homemade soups and hearty sandwiches served on home- baked breads, to more substantial entrees. Our chicken Pot Pie and Sweet Tooth Sampler are always favorites.

raspberrypie.jpgOur menu expands at dinner offering steaks, lake fish and seafood. You’ll also find it hard to turn down dessert. White Pines' chef takes great pride in his creations, especially his Pine Creek Peach Cobbler, Old Fashioned Bread Pudding and our signature Red Raspberry Pie.

The tradition of good food, generous portions, and friendly service extends to business meetings, seminars, retreats, wedding receptions, picnics, Christmas parties, banquets and family reunions.
