How to create your White Pines Wedding or Tourism listing. Print E-mail

To create a listing you must follow 3 main steps:
  1. Register with the website.
  2. Login and create your listing.
  3. Pay for your listing subscription using Paypal's secure shopping cart.

Register:

First you must register as a user on this website. You can do this from any of the pages on our website. Just scroll down to the very bottom of the page and click on the small link called "login".  There you can click on the link to create a new account. Follow the instructions and don't forget to look for the email that verifies your account registration!

Login:

Next you must login and create your listing. Log in via the login page described above.

Once logged in you will notice that there is a new menus available to you in the left column. Directory Menu.
Browse to your Category and Create your listing:

 

  1. Before you create your listing you must first choose the appropriate category for it. Click on the "Browse" link on your Directory Menu and then browse to the category that best fits your listing.
  2. Once you are in the proper category click on the "Add your listing here" link at the top, right part of the page.  Fill out the form as completely as possible.
  3. To add a photo to your listing click on the Browse button next to the Image field and choose the photo you want to use from your computer. The website will upload and resize your photo automatically.
  4. Filling out the META Keywords or META Description is optional.
  5. When you are done creating your listing, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Submit button.

Pay and activate for your listing:

  1. On your "My Listings" page click on the Buy Now button to the right of your listing.
  2. On the "Select an Option" page choose which type of subscription you want and click on the Buy Now button.
  3. Next, pay securely with a credit card click on the PayPal button. Note: you do not need to have a PayPal account to use this.
  4. You will be directed the secure, encrypted PayPal checkout page. Here you can choose to pay using any major credit card or if you have a PayPal account you can simply login.
  5. Follow the directions during checkout and after your purchase, PayPal will send you back to our site. You can then view your listing via our normal website navigation or go to your "My Listings" page from the Directory Menu.

Your listing will run on our site for the duration of your subscription. Shortly before your subscription expires we will email you reminders of this. You can simply renew you listing by logging in and clicking the Renew Now button. You will go thru the same secure checkout process as when you first paid for your subscription.

FAQ:

Q: I have created my listing but have not yet paid for it. When I am in the My Listings Page and click on the title of my listing I get the message: "The page you are trying to access does not exist. Please select a page from the main menu." How can I see my listing before I pay for it?

A: In short, you can't. At this point you cannot preview your listing until it is paid for. You can however view, add and edit your listing by clicking on the edit icon (pencil on paper).
