Cozy Log Cabins

'Stepping back in time' or it was just like 'Little House on the Prairie', are how families and couples describe overnight stays in these adorable log cabins which are set in a pioneer like village deep in the forest of White Pines State Park. These landmark status cabins were built with true craftsmanship by the men of the C.C.C. during the Great Depression. The quaint decor inside maintains the historic charm with stone fireplaces and hand hewn log trundle beds covered with quilted blankets.

Live Entertainment in the Playhouse

From its humble beginnings in 1989, the Pines Playhouse has blossomed into a well-known live professional theatre boasting 30 different shows a year featuring talent from around the country. At Christmastime each year they produce their own month long show, "Scrooge the Comedy" which is a one of a kind, side splitting, hilarious comedy using audience participation.

There are times you need to clear your head. There are times you need to go to your comfy place. This is it! A cabin in the middle of the woods practically in the middle of no where is just what the doctor ordered.
My Get-A-Way Place
This is a unique treasure. I'm torn about promoting it here only because it feels like one of those "best kept secrets" you want to protect from becoming a "popular" (viz. crowded and noisy) place. It is quiet and well tended. As a business, you get the sense that it is run VERY well and creatively. Thanks for the memories, WP. We'll be back.
